With over 20 years of professional experience in architecture and planning, Iric, as Principal at Davis Square Architects, is a true leader, guiding project teams in the development of sustainable residential and mixed-use developments, community facilities, and adaptive reuse projects. Iric's expertise extends to navigating the requirements of public and private funders, regulators, neighborhood groups, and historic preservation programs. He possesses a keen eye for detailed building analysis and offers valuable consulting to public agencies on multi-family housing and smart growth.

Beyond his professional achievements, Iric raised 3 children in Andover, is an active member of his community, and serves on several boards and committees for local government and organizations. His dedication to sustainable design has led him to share his expertise as a presenter at prestigious conferences and workshops, including NAHRO, The National Housing Conference, MIT's Regional Sustainable Development Forum, and the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.

The achievements of Davis Square Architects, under Iric's guidance, are nothing short of remarkable. They have received numerous awards for their commitment to smart growth, sustainable design, and design leadership. These accolades, bestowed by esteemed organizations such as the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, Sierra Club, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and many others, attest to the firm's excellence.

Iric holds a Master's in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a BA in Biology from Trinity College.  Iric and his wife Laura live in Andover with their three children.

Iric Rex's remarkable achievements, unwavering dedication to sustainable design, and his commitment to community service make him a true inspiration.  Congratulations Iric.

2023 Fred Stott Award

This award has been given since 2009 in memory of Fred Stott, a member of the ACT board as clerk, cheerleader, friend, and advocate. "Over the years, he invited us to join our resources with our voices. Again and again, we did so, learning in the process to speak fully for our beliefs," said his son Sandy Stott.
