How to solve the affordable housing crisis

  • Christ Church Andover, MA (map)

Andover Housing for All, in partnership with Greater Andover Indivisible, presents a housing forum, How to solve the affordable housing crisis.

This is a session to learn more about how affordable housing is created, funded, built and supported. It is intended for residents, developers, municipal staff, activists, and those who are interested in supporting the creation of more affordable housing in their communities. It is not a session to help individuals find affordable housing for themselves or their families. Please visit our Housing Help section for information on finding affordable housing.

The forum will feature speakers and information tables to provide an understanding of affordable housing.  Speakers will share how their organizations are working to increase the supply of homes people can afford for households of different sizes, at a range of income levels, and in different stages of life.  The forum will educate and inform the community about the importance of a diversity of housing choices needed to make Andover a thriving and welcoming Town, and the actions we can take as individuals to create those opportunities.

This event is open to the public and people may drop in for as much or as little time as desired. However, please note that the speaking part of the program will start at 5:50 and continue until about 6:30.
