Andover Community Trusts fourth permanently
affordable home
Cheever Circle
Andover Community Trust completed it fourth permanently affordable home on Cheever Circle in August 2008. Andover Community Trust had signed a purchase and sale agreement with the owner of the 10,000 square foot lot and received the support of the Andover Housing Partnership Committee and the Andover Board of Selectmen to build the modest three bedroom home. Although the SRA zoning calls for 15,000 square foot lots, the abutting homes, built before the current zoning, are also on 10,000 square foot lots. The home is appropriate to the neighborhood, and was sold to an income eligible household with a ground lease and permanent affordability restrictions, approved by both Andover Town Counsel and the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development.
In August of 2008, the owner and her two school aged children moved into their beautiful new home!
